Why the title "Mighty Men of Enon"

In the early years of my christian life I belonged to a para church organization whose focus was on discipleship of young servicemen. I was blessed to be discipled by men who loved the Lord. I mean, these men "loved the Lord", you could see their passion for Christ and living out the obedient Christian life was a priority in their lives. Everything they did, they did with exellence. We met once a week for Bible study, scripture memorization, and of course refreshments. But I guess the highlight for me was the fellowship and accountability. I miss those times, I yearn to be a part of a group like that again. I remember Jim Fiorelli especially. When I would get off track, or miss an appointment with him, he would get on the phone and find out what the problem was. He was always available to me no matter what the time of day or night. No subject was off limits. I knew Jim and he knew me, we were transparent with each other and God used those times to develop character and commitment in my life. Oh how I miss those man to man appointments. I pray that God would raise up men at my Church, who are committed to the Gospel of Christ, willing to go the extra step in helping those of us who are experiencing hic ups along the way. This blog will serve as a roadmap as I seek to find a group of Mighty Men, that God leads my way to serve our community. Together we will strengthen one another for the glory of God.
