Who says it doesn't snow in coastal North Carolina? Here's proof....We got about an inch of snow in the course of a few hours. Since we are not prepared to battle the snow, all the schools closed last night in preparation for all delays that this "huge" snowstorm would cause. I shouldn't complain since Sherree and I were given an extra day off from work!!! It also gave us an opportunity to watch President Obama take his oath of office on television and say goodbye to President Bush. Although I didn't vote for him, it is my duty as an American citizen to support him as he leads our Nation. The burden of leadership is great and will take a heavy toll upon him physically and mentally. My prayer for him is that he would lead with courage and commitment. He would set the example for all Americans to follow. He would serve with humility and purpose and not be led astray by the politicians in government. I do believe every man deserves a chance and now that he holds the reigns for our future as a Nation I pray for him and his family and so should you. Pray with conviction that God would protect the unborn during this administration and hearts would be changed to protect those who can't speak. Pray for those who have lost their jobs during this economic crisis and support those in government through prayer as they look to turn this ship around. It's time to stop pointing fingers and drop to our knees and repent and ask God to heal our nation. It starts with us. I'll be praying for President Obama more than I've prayed for any other President.
