Did You Ever Wonder

Did you ever wonder about the miracles Jesus performed? I mean, take for example the 12 year old girl who had died. You can read the miracle in Mark 5:40-42. Can you imagine what her life was like after being healed by Jesus. She was 12 years old, old enough to remember waking up and seeing the face of Jesus staring down at her. It blows my mind to try and imagine what her life was like after that encounter with Him. To my knowledge she is not mentioned again in the scriptures. I imagine she served Christ all the days of her life. Going about telling people how Jesus had come into her house as she lay dead, and Jesus calling out to her to "get up." My word, what an awesome testimony to share with others. After thinking about this miracle that Jesus performed, I look back at my own life and how Jesus called me to Himself so that I might be saved from death. Left to my own accord I would have died and lived separated from Christ forever! But because of His grace and mercy He called out to me and now I'm saved from death and will live forever in eternity with Him. Thanks to Tom Carstinsen who introduced me to this man called Jesus over 30 years ago. I am forever grateful that you had the courage to walk up to me and tell me about Him, and hopefully some day we will meet again and I can thank you in person. If not here...in Heaven.
