A Benny in Life

You know sometimes you wish life would throw you a bone. Give you a break, a little extra, something that would just make life a little brighter. A few years ago we added another member to our household in the form of a son in law. His name is Jason Cordes. He is one huge man and also a member of the world's finest fighting force, a United States Marine. He is getting ready to deploy overseas for his second or third deployment. It really doesn't matter how many times he deploys, he will just strap it on and go where the Marines tell him to go. No fuss, no problem, point him in the right direction and he will go. That's just the way he is. When Jason and Megan first met I had no idea how much I would grow to love this man as my own son. He is the real deal, man of God, faithful husband, loving father, awesome friend. By the time you read this Jason might have already landed getting ready to make his first patrol. I pray that God would give him the wisdom of Solomon, strength of Samson, and the heart of David. I thank God for making my life a little brighter. God bless you Jason, hurry home.
